Well, I know who my medieval fantasy character can go to for technical issues.

She'll look at him like "What century are you from?" at least at first.

Especially because at some point, Penric will end up sacrificing at least one computer for magical purposes, which will provide some of the interesting 'how did you even do that'.

(Basically his magic works by shifting entropy around, which means that a lot of the spells that create order, like healing, need Penric to put the entropy somewhere else, and complex systems are best. Until his magic settles down near arrival, this may also happen at random.)

Claudia is actually able to blend systems that probably shouldn't be combined, including more mystical power sources. Like helping cobble together a soul bottle when Alice escaped her looking glass. She mostly looks at it from a science viewpoint, but she knows there are things that don't quite fall within normal definitions.

So she might be able to help create some handy tools for that complexity that might be salvageable.

And Penric isn't against learning enough about how things work to apply magic.

Definitely could be a good match. Given her canon is full of things that accidentally develop personalities or properties that are Bad For You...finding better ways to deal with it is her thing.
