Well let me introduce you to this PROFESSOR OF MAGIC HERE--

Actually he sounds quite lovely and I would love to forge some CR between the two of them if at all possible (and also since Gansey practices a bit of a foreign magic to his own, he is always interested in learning about other magics).

Hello Mr. Sad Wizard please teach me wizard calculus.

Which is to say that I adore 1 (one) Caleb Widowgast (and his friends I guess) and would love CR between two PTSD-ridden magical guys. He would be happy to nerd out about magic and time guess who slips through time Caleb it's this kid.

Wizard Calculus, I absolutely LOST it and snorted.

So consider it a date where we introduce or Trauma-Blorbos and have them enthuse about magic ala SIMS 4 green plus marks style! (also time you say, he loves Time mechanics, so fascinating!

Magic calculus is so much more worth studying than mundane calculus and he made it through those classes!!!!!!! Bonus, he's actually gonna learn prestidigitation unlike someone who shall not be mentioned by name.

Definitely a date for trauma-blorbos! It is inevitable that Gansey will register for Caleb's class and then sit there looking starry-eyed for Knowledge when he's not furiously taking notes. And coming to office hours. And being generally charming and slightly annoying. And possibly learn Zemnian so he can read research notes and understand Caleb's muttering during his research fugues. Obsessive traumatized nerds unite!

So like eventually Gansey could become a Teacher's Assistant, because you know he's nerded himself into another tier; in which case he could assist Caleb in matters such as grading papers, teaching and like like explaining the basics to novices.. because you know he is going to be that precocious when it comes to magic, I feel!

Oh my god yes Gansey is 100% a teacher's pet and would be the best TA. He has all the makings of a career academic and genuinely loves poring through dusty ancient tomes. Precocious indeed!
