The hug DOES feel good. Something solid and warm and real, after decades lost in a dark, lonely dream.
He only pulls back enough to look the scientist in the face, eyes bright.
"I haven't seen even this many other people in YEARS. Hell, I'll take it. AND we managed to get here together!
I just...kinda wish I could remember how we did it. Everything is so...so muddled. My head feels like someone wanted to make a mojito in there."
