Peeta wanders off as Holland takes on the train. He finds a group of other people injured, and oddly enough, ends up helping all of them far more than he's accepting any help for his own wounds. He makes sure everyone has a backpack, which at least have water in them, and the oxygen helps for people who have inhaled smoke.
By the time Holland comes back, his adrenaline is all worn off and he's exhausted too.
Peeta's a little bewildered that he offers to set the arm himself, especially since he only has one to work with himself, but considers these options.
"A medical centre? Really?"
He looks around. If that's the case, he wonders why there isn't more medical help here. Do they not know about the crash? That seems hard to believe, the smoke billowing up can be seen for miles.
"Doesn't sound promising with the lack of medical staff helping here, but we could try. If it's real and any good, we could take word back to these people."
